The Leuser Ecosystem<strong>&nbsp;</strong>is also home to some of the world&rsquo;s last&nbsp;<strong>old-growth tropical forests</strong>&nbsp;and significant areas of peat soils that serve as important&nbsp;<strong>carbon sinks.</strong></p>
